On November 10 and 11, Steve Tripp attended the Auto Haulers Association of America Expo and Meeting in St. Augustine, Florida. Approximately 150 people were in attendance, representing Auto Haulers from across the country and suppliers who serve this industry.

Steve made a presentation concerning the concept of self-driving cars and trucks. In his speech, he asked the audience to think critically about how these revolutionary changes will impact the auto haulaway industry. While it is unclear exactly when or how these changes will unfold, it is certain that in time these technological innovations will dramatically impact how all the conference participants operate and manage in the future. It is also certain that companies that stay on top of these changes and develop creative strategies and solutions will better adapt and thrive in the new environment. Those who sit back and wait to see what happens run the risk of becoming obsolete, like many other companies that have succumbed to the rapid pace of technological change.
