As finished vehicle logistics networks become more dynamic and cost-sensitive, OEMs are increasingly investing in advanced optimization and scenario modeling capabilities. Stellantis North America has selected ICL, in collaboration with Agillence, to support optimization initiatives across its finished vehicle logistics network in North America.
The initiative will focus on improving transportation efficiency, enhancing dealer-level routing analysis, and strengthening multimodal logistics planning through advanced scenario modeling and network optimization capabilities.
As part of the engagement, ICL’s Rubicon team will leverage Agillence’s Lean Logistics Optimizer (ALLO) platform to support data-driven logistics planning and operational decision-making.
This collaboration reflects the growing importance of flexible, resilient, and analytics-driven finished vehicle logistics strategies as OEMs continue to navigate evolving transportation demands, capacity constraints, and changing market conditions.
Automotive manufacturers continue to face increasing pressure to optimize vehicle distribution networks while responding to changing transportation capacity, evolving dealer demand patterns, and ongoing supply chain disruption. As a result, network modeling and scenario-based optimization are becoming increasingly important tools for improving agility, cost efficiency, and service performance.
Supporting Smarter Automotive Logistics Decisions
Finished vehicle logistics networks are increasingly complex. OEMs must balance:
This initiative is expected to provide enhanced capabilities to evaluate alternative routing strategies, optimize transportation flows, and analyze network scenarios that support both operational performance and long-term strategic planning.
The solution is expected to help:
