ICL was founded by Patrick Donahoe

1992

Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) first launched, combining end to end vehicle track and trace with freight payment audit

1994

ILMS launched in the cloud - ICL’s first web-based application

1997

Miscellaneous Moves Module launched – allowing OEMs to procure and audit services for non-standard vehicle moves (ex. auto shows)

2002

Small Carrier Module launched – allowing logistics providers that cannot report events electronically to record vehicle movements via webscreen

2002

Business Intelligence launched – allowing OEMs to aggregate and analyze data from ILMS with graphs and KPI reports

2003

Matrix Supply Chain Management launched, replacing ILMS with a modern user interface, and advanced algorithms and data processing capabilities

2004

Port Invoicing added to Invoice Audit Module

2006

ETA Enhancement

2007

Benchmarking initiative allowed ICL’s customers to see how their data compares to other ICL customers, in an aggregated and anonymized format

2009

Expanded ETA

2012

Business Intelligence tool replaced with industry-leading data visualization tools, embedded within the system with self-serve capabilities

2012

Vehicle Logistics Management System (VLMS) launched, replacing MatrixSCM with a mobile, tablet and desktop compatible user interface, and advanced algorithms and data processing power

2015

ICL exceeds 5 million vehicles/year tracked

2015

Rubicon VLS, ICL’s 3rd party logistics company, launched

2015

Expanded scope of services for invoice audit

2017

Machine learning and increased statistical analysis integrated into VLMS to provide more powerful predictive analytics

2018

ICL Services de Mexico, ICL’s Mexican subsidiary, opened, in Mexico City

2018

Damage Exception Module added to VLMS, allowing OEMs to analyze where damages occur in transit

2018

Rail Shipment Visibility Portal (RSVP) launched, re-tooling ICL’s rail shipment tracking and invoice audit tools to be suitable for rail shippers of any commodity

2019

ePOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery) launched, allowing car carriers to report deliveries and record damage exceptions on vehicles using ICL’s ePOD mobile and desktop app. eCMR certified

2019

ICL Systems India Pvt opened, bringing ICL’s contracted offshore development talent in-house in Gurgaon, India

2019

Yard Management System Express (YMS Express) launched, providing a mobile and desktop app for yard managers to manage inventory and damage at vehicle in-transit yards

2020

ICL Global Supply Chain Solutions and ICL Services Germany launched, establishing an employee base with local knowledge and expertise within Europe
